ONE

Well we made it! We celebrated our 1 year anniversary last weekend!!!!

As we were approaching the date I felt like I was stuck in a time warp.  Let me rewind a little.

We had a large wedding and by large I mean 300 people!!!! In the last few months before our wedding I had officially gone into BRIDEZILLA mode.  I was obsessed with every.single.detail.  I was in wedding mode and then some. It was great and our wedding was perfect...but I wish I would have stopped and took a deep breath and soaked it all in.  I wish I would have enjoyed more and stressed less.

Fast Forward to June 19th 2011.

One year later.

One new driver's license later.

One new last name later.

One big move later.

One fight later.

One laugh later.

One promise later.

One cry later.

One decision later.

One vacation later.

One scare later.

One new job later.

One bonding moment later.

One laugh later...again :)

One day later.

So yes I did stress out probably more than I should have but now when I look at I realize it was OUR ONE day, and I wanted it to be the best it could be...and it was.

We decided we would watch our wedding video every year on our anniversary.  I don't really remember our vows (between you and me).  So we put it in the DVD player and the first song started and I got that lump...ya know the lump that you have to swallow or else...I cherish that day and those vows.  Since I did maybe forget them it was so special to remember them and to watch us as we promised before God and these witnesses to be true to each other and to live a life with God in the center of our marriage.  It felt good to come back to base...where it is safe...where it is just the two of us no.matter.what.

We went out to eat at this super yummy seafood restaurant, where we both ate way too much food; but enjoyed every bite of it!  And topped it all off with chocolate creme brulee...and it was just as good as it sounds!

So here we are one year later and one anniversary later.  I am so excited to spend many more anniversaries together I love you Mr. Mac and I am so proud to call you my ONE and only :)
