How Was Your Day?

Mr. Mac is a teacher.  I am not.  Yes, I get a little frustrated in the summer.  No I have not done so this summer.  Why?  Because Mr. Mac taught summer school for the first month of summer break.  So this week has been his first week of actual "summer break".  Being married to a teacher has its ups and downs.

One of the ups is surprise lunches at work with him!  And the fact that it was a day that I worked bell to bell with no breaks made it that much better!  I still get butterflies when I see him turn the corner into my office. Today he had this in his hands...

If ya'll don't know what Tokyo Joe's...you are totally missing out!  They have the best California Rolls and their food is just soo good!  I just love when the hubby comes to my work...it is where we met (to come in another post) and I always get to show him off.

Some of my best memories of being a little girl are when I would go to my mom's work.  She always had a drawer in her desk that had stamps and paper and pens and all sorts of office supplies.  I would spend hours playing "office".  Well today when Mr. Mac was in my office her started going through my drawer it looks something like this...

And this is organized...as you may be able to tell I am a total office supply junkie! Seriously going to supply stores is one of my favorites and always has been.  Don't even get me started on Back to School shopping.  So as my hubby is going through my drawer and taking home a pen and some other things I sent him home with I could help but smile.  Those fun, vivid memories of my being a little girl at my moms office came back to me and made my heart happy.
