I originally posted this without a title...that's good...I need a vaca :)

I know I was going to blog on Monday about the Bachelorette, but I didn't...so, sorry :)  But hey it is Friday!!!!  And I am blogging in the same week that I had promised, so that has to count for something right?

Real quick....woot woot for Jef (with one F)  I am SOOOOO happy she chose him.  I watched the show with my sis-in-law and a couple of other girls.  One of the girls totally called what was going to happen the second Emily sat down to talk about her upcoming date with Arie!!  Again I will say kudos to Emily for being upfront and honest and not dragging Arie along.

Two things: 1-girl has some legs!!!  2-They might have to label their clothes "E" and "J" so they don't wear the wrong shirts (I love Jef but this shirt might be a little much...yes no?)

They all look really happy together...I hope these two make it.  And I hope their wedding will be on TV just like Trysta and Ryan's.  That might have been one of the best things ever.  Yes I am a reality TV junkie :) Love it or leave it....

Have y'all heard of this book?  It is freaking HILARIOUS!!!  It is loosely based on a girl who ends up in shopping rehab because she spend $246,000.00 at Barney's IN ONE AFTERNOON! It is a totally fluff book and a very easy read, but I guarantee you will laugh out loud reading this book.  You can buy it here and you can read her blog here (highly recommend for a good daily laugh)

Mr. Mac has his 10 year high school reunion this weekend.  So all of his buddies are in town and up to no good.  Wish me luck with this.  And all we can do is hope things that result in pics like this don't happen...

All too familiar

Our community is once again shaken by a shooting at a local movie theater. This is far too familiar for us and our state.

I suddenly feel terrible that as the news was breaking here I was lying in bed not wanting to get up and go to work. Thank you lord that I have a job to get up to, that I am able to roll out of bed and get ready in the comfort of my home. Thank you for my life and my family. I pray that people do not turn against you but turn toward you. You are good and your love endures forever! Your plan is perfect. I pray for the victims and their families that they may find some sort of closure in the situation.

Mindless Randoms...

I have the hardest time making the title for my posts...I don't know why but I feel stressed out about them  Weird I know.

ANY-WHO! I have been so busy y'all I honestly don't know where the time is going or who is taking it away from me but it is FLYING by lately!  How is it the middle of July??  Summer is almost over and school will be back in session and then you will have to really start paying attention to the school zone speed limits...cuz those piggies LOVE them some first week of school, you are speeding in a school zone, tickets!  So watch out!

(tangent continued) I remember my parents always telling me to not grow up too fast, when I would say something like "oh I can't wait until I can drive, go to college, not have curfew, yada yada."  They were so right! I hate that, and I can't wait to me someone's mommy and get to play that card (just like you do mom :))  So now here I am in my LATE 20's being all grown up...doing grown up things like: go to work, go to the grocery store, clean my house on a Saturday, make vet appointments for my money pit sweetie of a dog,  pay bills (I don't pay them Mr. Mac does but it still counts), go back to work, reminiscent about the "old days",  playing corn-hole!!!! SAY WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!

This is where the rubber meets the road here people.  This is as grown up as one can be!  We have to have fun somehow!  Since Mr.Mac has the month off he is always finding projects to complete..which I am very thankful for :)  I have been wanting a corn-hole game for a while.  Except the one I envisioned was colorful and had chalk board paint somewhere on the boards to keep score (genius idea!), but this is how it turned out.  I will take it...for now.  Our houshold is divided in the state colleges here...Mr.Mac went to CSU for one year, and graduated from CU.  His brother graduated from CSU.  So we split the difference :)

 Now you can imagine my surprise when Mr. Mac calls me at work and tells me he is busy SEWING bean bags.  Why??  Well he wanted them to look like referees. So he went to the local fabric store and bought everything needed to make your own bean bags.  BTW we do not have a sewing machine so this was hand made!  I think they turned out great!  He really is a handy man!

Sunday is the finale of Bachelorette!!!! Now I made my predictions in this post.  I know Sean is gone but I am confident that my number 2 choice will pull through...GO JEF!!!.  Because my sister-in-law and I are not obsessed with the show.  We would never plan a whole day around the show Sunday....which may include

Spending the day at the pool...oh hey heat what's up?  Working on the tan, followed by a BBQ and 3 glorious hours of the Bachelorette.  What will the guys be doing you ask....sitting right next to us ha!

Also I have rediscovered my love for DMB!!! Dave Matthews Band for those who aren't familiar :)  And I can't figure out why I ever stopped!  Mr. Mac made a plethora of  CD's that consist of our top 5 musicians/bands/singers (he is really busy these days)  they have DMB, John Meyer, Lynard Skynard (his choice not mine), The Eagles, Florence and the Machine (my choice not his).  They are pretty good but I remembered how much I love DMB.  So now he is filling my Pandora...and I am in love all over again!  Then I felt old when one of the younger guys at work asked who that was....sad day when not everyone knows who DMB is....looks like I have some educating to do with this up-coming generation :)

Well I think this is officially as random and mindless as I can get...hope you enjoyed.  I feel better.  If I don't make it here tomorrow have a great weekend!!

im back! jess here again! remember me, i'm mrs. mac's friend that fills you in on celeb current events! now your all probably thinking who is this girl? i too am in my twenties with a full time job, full time family with children of the 4 legged kind, a strong dependency on wine and questionable morals. while i am a full fledged adult my tv taste borders on that of a teenager. right now mtv is in its prime with shows like awkward and teen wolf and i will watch real world/road rules challenges as long as they're on and im still breathing. lately i have been hooked to amazon.com to supply me with all my in case the world is ending absolute necessities such as inappropriate tshirts, polaroid film and dvd seasons of the big bang theory. anyway when i clicked on what they recommend i purchase this is what popped up...

apology post-its? i think amazon is trying to tell me something. okay enough about me lets get started. you know the drill, and im sorry if i offend anyone but chances are i will do it again.

now that tom is back on the market and john hits for both team keep your eyes peeled for these two. just remember I called them “jom” first.

kourt and dapper disick had baby number two, penelopescotland disick. personally i would have nixed the penelope and just gone withscotland. not my baby though. 

kateand pippa hit up the all england club for a little something called the men’schampionship. remember folks i love me some royal people, even pippa and hergun waving friends.

I have no idea!

Seriously!  I have no idea where I have been or what I have been doing.  My life is just that exciting!  So I went M.I.A for like a week and have no good stories to tell y'all...sorry :)  But apparently during my momentary lapse of remembrance I managed to take some photos. Enjoy :)

My anniversary present to Mr.Mac was a pair of Nike ID shoes.  He designed these puppies by himself.  They are his new babies...no joke.  He only wears them on "special occasions" 

You read right :)  ONLY  MY HUSBAND!!!!  Oh and they are his school colors blue and orange...mustang  pride!!!

Bad photo quality but you wanna talk about things that melt my heart???  These two boys are the most precious things to me.  MY SOUL!!!!  B will rarely let anyone sit next to him on the couch...except for Mr. Mac!  He just adores him and I can't thank God enough for this relationship.  Never mind the 24 year difference these two are buds!  LOVE THEM TO PIECES!!!

We went to an engagement party on Saturday and they had a caricature artist there (btw totally had to Google how to spell "caricature")  anywho this is us!  I love it :)

And to end it all...today is THIS sweet boys 9th birthday....ummm where does the time go???  Yes he is as cool as he looks.  Happy Birthday G!  Uncle and I love you very much and we are so proud of the young man you are becoming.
