A Birthday Party

First off...HAPPY FRIDAY!!! Seriously my favorite day of the week by.far.  And man oh man I have the busiest month or so coming my way.  We leave next Wednesday for a family vacation and then we have a wedding to go to a month later in another state.  But before all of that it is my nephews 8th birthday on Saturday!! 

G had his friend birthday party last night....oh.my.lanta!!!  My SIL (sister-in-law) had/has her hands full.  The original plan was to have a pool party with 16 that's right 16 darling little boys splashing around.  That was until this...

So we (and by we I am talking myself and the SIL) improvised, while trying to not completely rain no pun intended on G's birthday hopes of having a pool party. 

Instead of having these cute water sprayer thingies sitting in a cute bucket poolside we placed them here (with S sitting so cutely next to them) "Here let me sit by them Aunt Bri and you take my picture ok?" "Yes S...whatever you say :)"

E and their puppy Pearl sat a waited for the torrential downpour to come...seriously how cute is this picture?!?

As expected the rain came, but that did not stop these kiddos from having a ball. G had a great birthday party with all of his, and thankfully the rain stopped and they took those water sprayer thingies out side and had THE BEST water fight!!!  One of the best things about kid's birthday parties is watching them all play together and simply enjoy the moment...soo much fun!  Not to mention the awesome toys they have these days.

This post is to you G my FAVORITE nephew who has the sweetest heart possible.  Uncle and I love you so much and we are so proud of the handsome, caring, Jesus loving young man you are becoming!!!
