HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLOG!!!

A whole year has gone by since I started this little thing!!!  So thank you to whoever reads this, and I am so excited for another year!!  I have big plans for this puppy this year...I think :)

Randomness...

Well it is Thursday peeps which means tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!  Woop Woop!!!  I don't have any one thing super exciting to tell you about...soo I will share with you a lot of little exciting things...k?

First of all...have you guys been watching American Idol??  I think this is the best season in a looong time!!  I am mildly obsessed with Phillip Phillips...

I was a Target yesterday, and they have the cutest sandals right now! 

I will take one of each thankyouverymuch!!!

And these are girl's sandals...umm how adorable are these, and they are cheaper than adult shoes!!  And yes I can wear kid's shoes...don't judge.  Hey it almost always saves at least $5!!

They also had some really cute Keds looking shoes that came is neon colors, but my nieces have them and THAT would be creepy to have that same shoes as my 6-year old nieces.  But they are adorbs!

The weather here has been outs of control...it is supposed to be 84 this weekend.  Really it is STILL March and we are normally digging our way out of a heavy blizzard, but instead I am asking Mr.Mac when we can turn the AC on...the answer is "I am NOT turning the AC on in MARCH!!!  I cannot justify that!"  OK cool babe no worries :)

I started doing the Couch to 5K training this week and so far so good!

I love Spring...and being able to eat outside...it just makes everything better.

One of my biggest pet peeves is not turning the steering wheel straight when you park your car...I don't know why but it drives me nuts.

I bought this the other day, and I don't think I can live without it now!  I used to get another brand of primer but it was kick in the stomach for how much it was.  This is affordable and it makes your foundation look uh-maz-ing!!  

OK I have to get to work now...so that is a random as it gets for today!!!

Oh my-lanta!!

In honor of this mundane Monday...I bring you some celeb dish...

Before I do this I have to tell ya'll I love Jessica Simpson...The Newlyweds was one of my favorite reality shows, and girl can design some shoes and handbags bar none!  AND I know a LOT of pregnant peeps right night.  Seriously...I am the only person I can think of that is NOT knocked up and/or has a kid.  But come on she is killing me right now....

POOR THING!  I know she is short and all but SHUT.THE.FRONT.DOOR.!!!  When is enough enough??  People magazine reported that the menu at her shower consisted of "deep fried Twinkies, mac n'cheese, corn dogs, and fried chicken"....of course it did.  Now the most concerning thing is what she wore...see photo 4 above...are they calling that gator camo?  If I have jinxed myself then I am cool with that...if I look like I ate myself AND my husband then I will post a collage to make fun of myself.  HOWEVER I will guarantee you the I will look like a goth cuz all you will see me in will be black and under that will be 5000 pairs of spanx...k?

Yes I know she is wearing black but umm hello?? are we looking at the same thing here people?  I bet Nick Lachey is reaaallll happy about his situation right now...

Also the Beibs released his new single yesterday or something, and because I am an adult Belieber just for the sake of this blog I have listened to it 10 times on you tube while sitting at my desk once...and my professional opinion is well done Beibs!!! * * * *  (4 stars)

Speaking of preggers...I am all too excited to do a collage of pregnant Snooki :)

and of Reese Witherspoon (except hers will be a cute one)

See I am telling ya'll everyone is pregnant...so if ya want to get on the wagon drink that water girls...and if ya don't...make sure you're drinking other forms of liquid ;)

Our first baby

Although Mr. Mac and I do not have a human baby...we definitely have a baby!

Mr. Mac surprised me with Lexi, and she was my very first dog of my own...now I know she is our dog but ya know what I am sayin.  I was soooooo excited to have a dog and she was just so stinkin' cute!

I don't care if you are a dog person or not...she was the.cutest.puppy.EVER...and boy did she know it...I mean check out photo number 2!

When Mr. Mac and I lived in the townhouse I was a sucker and let her get on the furniture, and I loved it!  We would cuddle on the couch and bed all the time, and this dog is a lover oh man!  Fast forward and we are living at Mr. Mac's parents, and she is not allowed on the furniture.  I get it, it is kinda gross to have your dog sprawled out on your couch with hair everywhere and what not.  So she adjusts and is just fine not getting on the furniture there.

We moved into our house and THE SECOND we unwrapped our couches Lexi was like YESH MOM MY COUCHES....I WUV MY COUCHES. Now at our new house she is not allowed on our bed or the couches...and you guys it was breaking my heart.  She would look at you like well are we gunna cuddle?  So me being the weak sauce parent, and her knowing that I have allowed her on the couches if I am on them and have a blanket spread out.  Case in point last night....

  PASSED OUT!!!

I am a crazy bird about Lexi!  I talk to and for her all time, she is a very opinionated little pup!  And I just love her to pieces.

Busy Bee

So I am throwing a good friend her baby shower on Saturday!  I am sooo excited ya'll...I have been in Pinterest heaven planning and getting some fun ideas.

I just love baby showers and everything that goes along with them.  I think of this time as the momma's last shindig that can be all about HER!  And that is what my goal is...I want everything to be perfect and wonderful and baby-filled!

I have been shopping for a couple of months for everything and stashing it all in a closet...I will spare you the pic, cuz then I would show my amazing ability to be a hoarder...which I am not...nor have I ever been ;)

Last night I decided I better start decorating my house cuz I will be a psycho lady the next couple of days cleaning and getting stuff ready.

 I am super happy with how these turned out!  Even Mr. Mac thought they were cute :)  And they were soo easy!!

FYI this is what my dinning room looks like and will look like until Friday night....cute huh?

I can't remember where if found this idea, but I absolutely love it, and I hope it is something momma and baby will enjoy for a lifetime :)

I will take more pictures and post them next week!  

In other news, because of the shower I have been an even more frequent Target go'er....it's tough I'm tellin ya :)  Now I don't know about ya'll but when I am in Target I HAVE to go down the office supply aisle.  I mean what if there is some great new pen out there that I need as it will make my grocery list look so much more appealing?  Cuz lets be honest here, that's the only "writing" I do anyways :) There I was marching down the aisle and I saw this..............

 and then I died and went to heaven and came back....

OK this is a color coordinated office supply area that has the.cutest.stuff.ever.  I seriously stared and pondered how I could fit this stuff into my budget.  I couldn't.  So I didn't buy any of it....yet.

But seriously just look at all the stuff...aaaaagggg!!!!

In a month...

Hey look it's NOT Valentine's day anymore here :)  Blogging took a backseat without much notice to me, until like 3 people randomly told me "It's not Valentine's Day"...clueless for a minute I got the hint!  So here I am back in action!

In the last month.....

I have worked 40 hours in about three days...

Battled the cold/flu season twice in our household...

Planned a baby shower...

Made homemade blueberry and chocolate chip biscotti...

Just found out that "biscotti" is not recognized as a real word??...

Wore sandals for the first time this year...

Purchased more furniture for our house...

We had a car battery fail...at the dollar store (not ghetto I promise)...

Obsessed over The Voice and American Idol...

DID NOT obsess over Christina Aguilara's offensive and over the top cleavage...

Started a Beth Moore Bible study, and LOVE it...

Lost ONE hour of sleep, and gained HOURS of sunlight :)...
