It's hump day!!! Yay for Wednesdays :) I don't have anything terribly exciting to blog about today so I thought I would do a post about how I seriously get so excited over the little things in life! For example...
...I dropped my iPhone this weekend and thankfully only the case broke! Well yesterday Mr. Mac surprised me with this cutey case...and it made my day! You would have thought he bought me a Louis Vuitton bag or something!
...I will squeal and clap randomly at the thought of decorating our house...the people at work DO think I am crazy FYI
...Some of our good friends are pregnant and she just sent me an update email...and I got teary eyed for her...WHO DOES THAT?!?
...I found the ka-utest Christmas cupcakes to make for a party we are going to, and it is taking alot of my energy to not go to the store now and bake the rest of the day!
...the thought of having a dining room makes me giddy :)
...the thought of entertaining at our new house makes me even more giddy :)
...I start crying when the previews for the movie War Horse comes on
...I still get butterflies when Mr. Mac calles me randomly during the day
...I get really excited when a oldie but goodie comes on the radio, and will even make people be quiet if needed
You get the hang of it :) Hope you are having a great day!!!

Shop til You Drop..
The second best thing about Thanksgiving is...BLACK FRIDAY!!! Now I will tell you that I have not always been a Black Friday shopper...however if you want to be a cool member in Mr. Mac's family you do not have an option but to be a Black Friday shopper. My first year I had no idea what I was in for! We are talking 8-9 hours of shopping...it makes going to work look like a walk in the park :) But now here I am a couple of years later and I would not miss this day for anything!!! Apparently other women agree because a woman's water broke inside a store!
Thanksgiving night we get our route figured out and all that jazz. Then bright and early us ladies hit it road running! This year we were at Target by 6...three hours later our vehicle was packed full and we had to drop off load number 1!

We continued on our journey, and saved a ton of money!!! I am about 3/4 done with all of my Christmas shopping!! When all was said and done this is what the guest room/gift wrapping room at my MIL's house looked like....not too shabby :)
Can you say holey wrapping batman!!!
We organized everything in piles according to peeps and thanks the some gangster scoring in the box department I think we are set to go. We set up a long table over the hope chest and have a little gift wrap station...it's pretty awesome :)
I also hit up Cyber Monday yesterday and got some pretty good deals for Mr. Mac's presents. I love buying Christmas presents of people and when I get a good deal on them it makes me even happier!!
Saturday night we (the whole fam dam) helped put up my in-laws Christmas decorations!
It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas...all we are missing a good snowfall!!
My office is decorated and the Christmas music is in full swing. I love this time of year and I always feel so blessed to be able to share it with such awesome people :) Have a great day y'all!!

Gobble til' You Wobble!!
Hello Monday...again :) I hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend! I know we did! On Wednesday night my MIL and I went up to my SIL's house to help her with some artsy decor stuff. Ya know that saying "it takes a village"...weeeellll that is totally our family :) Her tables turned out super cute!
This kid's table...we made those little hats! And the kids could color their place mats!
Here is her dining table! I love this table scape...next year we are going to add ribbon/bows to the vases.
On Thanksgiving morning my SIL and I got to the grocery at the crack of dawn to get our papers and then we grab some Starbucks (I opted NOT to take a pic of us doing this as you would probably never return to my blog EVER!) BUT I did snap a pic of the best newspaper of the year :)
I can't wait to dig in!!!! The tradition is to wait until after dinner and we all go through these papers like uncivilized people...it's pretty awesome!
My nieces came down in the morning and I did their hair and got ready. I forgot to take a picture of their hair but they turned out so cute! I did a headband braid in the front and a ponytail with hair wrapped at the base so you didn't see the hair tie. If that made any sense...if not pretend you didn't read this part of the post...k?
E watching "Beauty and the Beast" on my bed while I got ready
Mr. Mac and I rotate the day part of Thanksgiving every year and this year it was my mom's family!
While I snapped pictures with weird people my family...the boys did this...
GO COWBOYS!!! They won ya know!!
And some silly girls were just so excited that they were jumping for joy!!
My aunt's pretty table (pre-feast)
The turkey...it is cooked even though this pic is kinda nasty...
NOM NOM NOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the end result....
Stuffed!!!!
We have so much to be thankful for this year...come back tomorrow for the Black Friday shenanigans :)

Holiday Randomness....
Today is my Friday! Yippeee!!!!!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Thanksgiving...probably one of the better holidays :)
With buying a house AND it being holiday season...my motivation to do my job is in the negative numbers...seriously
But I am thankful every day that I have a job, and that 9 out of 10 days I enjoy my job :) (hey nothing is perfect!)
There was a dad and his little girl at church last night that made my uterus skip several beats. And I kept leaning over and asking Mr.Mac if "that" makes him want a baby. His response "Well ya...some day" *smirk*
I am so pumped for Black Friday!!
Our realtor just called and the sellers agreed to do everything we put for the inspection report...I could not be happier right now.....GOD IS SO FAITHFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I really can't focus :)
I can't wait to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow!
I know this will sound crazy but I love waking up at the crack of dawn on Thanksgiving! My sis-in-law and I go to the store and buy like 4 newspapers and have Starbucks!! It is a memory I will always look forward to :)
I will try to take some pics of our day tomorrow and do a post about the crazyness that consumes our family for Black Friday...y'all will not belive it!
Happy turkey day eve!!

Decor Galor
So now that we almost have this house all I can think of decorating our new home! Yes I have been at work, but my mind has been at IKEA, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kirklands, Home Goods...you get it. Mr.Mac and I had a townhouse when we first got married, but he had lived there long before me so it was already decorated and all that jazz. And I loved the townhouse, we shared a lot of great memories there and I was sad when we rented that out.
BUT NOW....I have a lot of decoration to figure out! Here is a little glimpse of what I am diving into....
BUT NOW....I have a lot of decoration to figure out! Here is a little glimpse of what I am diving into....
This is part of our kitchen!!! Comes with all BRAND spankin' new stainless steel appliances (and brand new front loader washer and dryer) LOVES LOVES LOVES the cabinets!!!
And this is the art I am thinking for the eat in kitchen wall...I mean how cool are these?!?
Master Bathroom...check out the framed mirror
Yay for soaking tubs :)
This is a picture I am considering for the bathroom with maybe a crazy colored frame...thoughts??
Let me tell you it is a little overwhelming to think about decorating a whole house and making it flow ( and NOT making it too girlie :)...
Now the real question is where can I put this sign in our house? it's only the best saying ever!!

Timing is Everything
Well peeps...Mr.Mac and I are offically under contract on a house!!!!!!! And it is not the orginal home we had an offer in on. The current one is NOT a short sale (thankfully!) and is a billion times better! GOD IS SOOO GOOD...all the time :)
Our first house bouying process had been anything but pretty up until last Wednesday. We had an offer in on a short sale since August 2nd and that deal ended up falling apart on last Tuesday. I.was.not.a.happy.camper!!!!! Our agent sent us a new lisitng report on Tuesday night and we came up with 7 homes to go look at. We actually found 3 that we would consider...and withing these 3 was THE ONE!!! OH MY LANTA people!!!!!!!!!!! This home was perfect...an investment group bought this home and completely re-did the entire home. From carpet to pipes to doors and door hardware. It.is.georgous!!!
We called the listing agent and they said someone had looked at the home on Sunday but had yet to see an offer. Our agent is the bomb.com and she wipped up an offer that night!! A little bargaining and we were under contract Thursday morning!!! We had our inspection on Sunday and the only major thing is the roof. So as we try to reach a compromise with that I cannot help but to be flooded with pure happiness. I am so proud of Mr.Mac and all he does for our little family, and mostly for putting up with my crazy pretty princess behavior while finding a home.
Over the last four months I have just prayed for God's provision and that I fully trust in His plan for us, and the His perfect timing be revealed to us...and it was! He has given us so much to be thankful this year, and I will never forget this time in our lives. I know that this stuggle will just be a small piece of a big puzzle for us.

Bowlin' With our Omi...
...to the tune of "Rollin' with my Homies". This weekend was action packed. Mr. Mac's grandma has been here almost the entire month and this was her last weekend here. In addition to that we had my mother-in-law and step-dad's birthdays!
Friday night we went over to my mom's house and had dinner (homemade Chicken Pot Pie ya'll!) with them and played Mexican Canasta...which is only the best card game EVA! Google it and you will not be sorry :)
Saturday while Mr. Mac was hard at work (he works at a little Italian deli on Saturdays...such a busy man!) I went shopping and ran come errands before our big family bowling extravaganza!

G, S, and E...does this not look like the most forced picture of three kids you ever did see?
We had so much fun, and the fact that we got a 85-year woman to bowl made it that much better!!
GO OMI!!!!!!!!
Uncle and E...so sweet! She would do a cartwheel like every time she threw the ball, she is definitely the performer in our family :)
So serious...check out that form people!!
Happy Birthday Nonna!!
Everyone's #1 fan!
It was a fun night and we topped it off with presents and the most AMAZING bunt cake EVER!!!

We had the carrot cake (this pic I stole from online) and it is seriously the best cake, and the frosting...oh the frosting!!!! Nothing Bundt Cakes makes the most DELICIOUS cakes in all of the land!
Such a fun night and a great way to spend a brithday!
